Seigel, Andrew (Clarinet)
Dr. Andrew Seigel teaches applied clarinet and chamber music at the State University of New York at Fredonia. He currently performs with the Fredonia Wind Quintet, the Buffalo Chamber Players, and orchestras throughout western New York. Dr. Seigel has performed recitals throughout the United States and in Abu Dhabi, Germany, Hungary, and Romania, and has appeared as a soloist with ensembles in New York, California, Michigan, Maine, and Louisiana. Dr. Seigel studied with Elsa Ludewig-Verdehr at Michigan State University as a Distinguished Fellow and spent two years in Hungary as a Fulbright Scholar at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest. Originally from California, he also received degrees from California State University, Fresno. Dr. Seigel’s students run the gamut from nationally renowned neurosurgeons and million-dollar prize-winning video gamers to musicians and teachers from Alaska to Florida.
