Waterman, Bill (Tuba and Euphonium)
Dr. Bill Waterman is associate professor of music at Boise State University, where he teaches tuba, undergraduate/graduate courses in the brass area, and serves as the assistant director of athletic bands. Dr. Waterman also serves as the principal conductor and music director of the Brass Band of the Treasure Valley. Dr. Waterman’s performance career includes performance positions with various orchestras across the United States, as well as many guest performances as a soloist highlighted by a solo recital at Carnegie Hall. He is an active member in several professional organizations, including the International Tuba Euphonium Association, College Band Directors National Association, National Association for Music Education, and the North American Brass Band Association, with which he also served multiple terms on the board of directors. Dr. Waterman proudly represents the Eastman Music Company as a performing artist and educator.
